I’d rather err on the side of workers’ protections, much like the presumption of innocence & the BoR means the occasional criminal goes free. Companies are huge, merciless entities with no values beyond the Quarterly Earnings Statement. Human quality of life is a commodity to them; to be bartered & exchanged according to the whim of the market.
