		<title>God allows you to be trapped</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In Psalm 31:4, the psalmist praises God for this reason:</p>

  <p>You take me out of the net they have hidden for me, for You are my refuge.</p>
</blockquote>

<p>Notice he says &#8220;take me out.&#8221; And notice that the net is &#8220;hidden.&#8221;</p>

<p>This implies that he was trapped in a hidden net laid for him by his enemies. God allowed him to be trapped and helpless.</p>

<p>But God, as His refuge, rescued him. For that, he praises God.</p>

<p>This comforts me because every day there can be hidden traps that I get caught in, things not going as I planned, results not being what I wanted, difficulty in some area I hadn&#8217;t anticipated.</p>

<p>Instead of complaining, I want to turn to God as my refuge and rely on Him. He will deliver me one way or the other and is worth waiting on.</p>

<p>Here&#8217;s how I wrote this out to remind myself of the truth:</p>
